Catto & Catto On The Move: How We’re Growing and Changing for the Better

It’s nearing the end of 2015, and great things are happening at Catto & Catto. We are in the midst of creating a new organizational strategy, we have adopted a new logo, and moved our offices. While we have been in business since 1933 and are still the same company at the core, we are very different in many ways than when we first started. In fact, we’re very different than we were five and 10 years ago. Now we are looking at things through different lenses and making changes to our scenery.  Our goal is to ensure that our company culture stays relevant and meaningful to the outside world, but always remains anchored to our mission and values.

With these advancements, we hope to build on the incredible history and legacy of Catto & Catto. Our past leaders sacrificed short-term gain for long-term success. Over the past 10 years, the level of trust among the leadership team has grown to new heights, and it is that steadfastness that has allowed our plans and dreams to become a reality. We have a unified vision for the company, and now it is our time to make similar investments for the long-term benefit for our clients and employees.

Our New Strategy

We are in the midst of a company-wide transformation. Our new strategy involves a pretty radical restructuring of our business so that we can more effectively live out our purpose, values, mission, vision and brand commitment. We want to enhance our clients’ experience, so we are creating a richer, more robust offering of our products and services.

Our level of business is also growing like we’ve never seen before, thanks to our great clients and our team. We have never been stronger or more capable, in fact. There are a lot of new faces around the office, particularly in leadership roles.

Our New Location

Downtowns throughout the world are the heartbeat of any community. Since 1933, our headquarters has been located in downtown San Antonio. Downtown is a huge part of our story, which is why we aren’t leaving.

For the past ten years, we have been on the ground floor of East Houston Street and have experienced all of the hustle and bustle of downtown San Antonio firsthand. It has been inspiring and fun to sit in our conference rooms and watch life on the street go by before our eyes. That aspect of our building has always given us a really good feeling of connection with what’s going on around us.

We are changing and growing in a great way, forcing us to evaluate the functionality of our office space. Fact: we spend more time at work than we do anywhere else. We believe fun, engaging environments are necessities at work. The better our environment is, the more purposeful we are about what we do. The direct result? Employees who are more productive, more engaged, and more in tune with our clients’ needs. Our hope is that our clients will experience a group of people that are even more responsive and knowledgeable than they were before. Our new space at One Alamo Center fits us perfectly. There’s more space, more light and more room to grow.

Our New Look

Any company who has experienced a rebranding knows how difficult it is to select colors, fonts and symbols that tell the story of who they are. The Catto & Catto look has been the same since we started. We’ve added to it over time, but it has essentially remained unchanged. Needless to say, it’s time for a change. And while change is tough, it’s good.

The partners at Catto & Catto chose a logo that reflects how much we have changed. We are in a very different place now and are planning for big things in the future. Our job every day is to take something that is very complicated and make it digestible for our clients so they can make good decisions about their programs. We wanted our logo to capture people’s attention and communicate approachable simplicity and time-tested solutions.

What’s Next

In the midst of all of this change, it is important for our clients, employees and friends to remember that the foundation of who we are isn’t changing. The transitions we are experiencing now, and the growth we anticipate in the future, are exciting for everyone involved. At the end of the day, our priority is to continue to present and deliver thoughtfully-developed, customized insurance, risk management, surety, benefits and wellness solutions to our clients.

Thank you for your support during this exciting time for Catto & Catto. If you’re ever in the area, stop by and let us show you around. We look forward to sharing our new home with you!
