Session Presentors
Roxana Delgado & Victor Medina
Roxana has been called the “Wounded Warrior Caregiving Hero” by the Washington Times. Her husband Victor sustained a traumatic brain injury from an IED while serving in Iraq. She shifted from a doctoral student and clinical investigator to Victor's primary caregiver. Through his recovery, they decided to reach beyond their own struggles and stand for others, resulting in congressional recognition. She has since completed a PhD in Health Science and works in military medical research.
