The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA)

The bulk of the discussion will be focused on the recently passed COVID relief bill and its impact on COBRA and other benefits-related provisions.

The new administration is expected to issue some executive orders and make regulatory changes to rules that affect employee benefit plans. Congress may also include benefits-related provisions in any COVID-19 relief measures it passes. In this webinar, we will review any changes already made and discuss proposed regulatory and legislative changes.

Regan Debban, J.D., Principal, Benefit Comply, LLC
Regan Debban has worked as an attorney for a major Fortune 500 company as well as for a PEO that provided benefits and HR services to small employers. She has also worked as a legal researcher for Thomson Reuters. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Regan worked as an account manager in a leading Minneapolis area insurance agency, so she understands the issues facing employee benefit consulting firms and agencies.
